Description
The Former Brewhouse at Faerdre is a two-bay, single-storey building constructed of rubble, partly set on rock foundations. It features a slate roof with rough rubble gable parapets and a large chimney on the left gable. The left side has an open entrance, with a small, modern-glazed light beyond it. On the right, there is a 4-pane 19th-century window in a former entrance that has been reduced in size, along with another entrance on the far right that has a boarded door. All openings are topped with exposed timber lintels. The right (eastern) gable includes a bricked-up former loading bay.
Inside, the building has a two-bay layout with a central rubble dividing wall. A large, two-stage projecting chimney breast is present, featuring a wide, flat oak bressummer.
