Marina Inn, 122 Harbour Street, Irvine

The Marina Inn, located at 122 Harbour Street in Irvine, is an earlier 19th-century building. It is a two-storey structure with a four-bay rectangular plan, constructed from painted rubble stone, with one side harled and plain margins.

On the northern elevation, which is the principal facade, there is an entrance door situated in the bay to the centre right, with a blocked opening immediately to the left. To the left of the door, there are two windows, and to the right, there is one window, along with a doorway at the far right. The first floor features four windows that are symmetrically arranged.

The western elevation is a blank gable end, while the eastern elevation is also a blank gable end that is harled. The southern elevation includes a winding rubble stone forestair with recent shed rails leading to the first-floor entrance in the centre left bay, and a brick-built lean-to is located to the right.

The building has varied replacement plate and multi-pane glazing, a grey/brown slate roof, stone skews to the right, replacement coping to the left, and ashlar gable head stacks.

The interior was not seen in 1997. There is a single-storey, single-bay rubble stone outbuilding to the south with a double-pitch slate roof. Additionally, there is a rubble stone boundary wall to the west and south, along with a recent harled wall to the east.
