Description
44 Harbour Street is an earlier 19th century, two-storey, three-bay rectangular house. The front is made of pointed ashlar, while the sides are harled with moulded ashlar margins.
On the northwest elevation, which is the principal front, there is a central doorpiece with pilasters and a cornice, with a window above it. The flanking bays are symmetrical, featuring windows on both the ground and first floors.
The northeast elevation is a gable end with windows on the ground and first floors, which have plain margins.
The southwest elevation is attached to No 46. The house has modern replacement windows and a front door, with a grey/brown slate roof, stone skews, and ashlar or rendered and lined gablehead stacks.
The interior was not seen in 1997.
