Description
56 Harbour Street is an earlier 19th century, two-storey, two-bay terraced house. It is constructed of squared and snecked tooled sandstone, which is painted, featuring plain margins and a quoin strip on the northeast side.
On the northwest, or principal elevation, the door is offset to the right with a window above it on the first floor. To the left, there is a bay with aligned windows.
The northeast and southwest elevations are attached to neighboring properties.
The house has 12-pane timber sash and case windows, a roof covered with grey/green slates, and a stone skew on the northwest side. There is a harled gablehead stack also located on the northwest side.
The interior was not seen in 1997.
