Garrymore, Main Street, Allanton

Garrymore is an early 19th century, two-storey, three-bay terraced house located on Main Street in Allanton. The exterior features squared and snecked stugged sandstone with droved ashlar tails.

On the west elevation facing the street, there is a modern partly-glazed door in the center, topped by a consoled cornice. A window is located on the first floor, with additional windows on each floor of the flanking bays.

The east elevation is harled and includes a full-height gabled addition in the center and to the right. The first floor has 12-pane timber sash and case windows, while the ground floor on the west elevation has modern glazing. The roof is slate with brick mutual stacks, and the skews are ashlar coped.

The interior was not seen in 1996.
