Description

Early 19th century with late 19th century additional storey and with earlier building adjoining and later alterations. 2-storey 3-bay terraced cottage with earlier single storey single bay section to N (within terrace). Stugged ashlar with droved ashlar dressings; rubble addition to N. Eaves course.

W (STREET) ELEVATION: partly-glazed panelled door to centre with consoled cornice above; window at 1st floor. Window to each floor of bay to right. Former shopfront at ground of bay to left, with tripartite segmental-arched openings (former door to centre). 2-leaf boarded door with timber lintel to earlier building altered as garage to outer left.

E ELEVATION: not seen, 1996. Projection in bay to centre and left.

Plate glass timber sash and case windows. Slate roof with ashlar coped skews. Ashlar coped gablehead stack to N; brick mutual stack to S. Pantile roof to garage with slates eaves easing courses and 2 2-pane 19th century skylights.
