22 Bellfield Street, Portobello, Edinburgh

22 Bellfield Street is an early 19th century, two-storey, three-bay classical terraced house with a later addition at the rear. The building is constructed of squared and snecked sandstone with droved ashlar dressings and features a base course.

On the southeast, or principal elevation, there is a panelled door at the center with a radial fanlight above it. The masonry shows evidence of a former doorpiece or porch. There is a blinded window on the first floor that is slightly misaligned with the ground floor door, and there are windows in each floor of the flanking bays.

The northwest, or rear elevation, was not seen in 1994, but it features a central projection that was built by 1856. The house has 12-pane timber sash and case windows and a grey slate roof with a coped and rendered mutual stack.

The boundary wall is rendered and has a coping.
