Description

Early 19th century with later additions and alterations. 2-storey, 3-bay classical terraced house. Squared sandstone, stugged ashlar dressings. Base course, weathered eaves course.

SE (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: pilastered and corniced doorpiece to centre, with end rosettes to entablature, fluted lintel; 2-leaf, deep-set panelled door, in round-arched opening; semicircular plate glass fanlight and window at 1st floor above. Originally single windows to each floor in flanking bays, now replaced by tripartite windows to each floor in bay to right.

NW (REAR) ELEVATION: 2-storey harled extension to left and further single storey extension at centre.

12-pane timber sash and case windows. New slate roof; coped apex stacks.

INTERIOR: not seen, 1994.

BOUNDARY WALLS: render with coping; tall painted gatepiers with urn finials.
