Description

Mid to later 19th century with later alterations. 2-storey with attic, 3-bay rectangular-plan symmetrical house built on ground rising to W. Harl-pointed roughly coursed rubble. Eaves course. Rubble margins to openings; concrete cills to windows; 1st floor windows hugging eaves.

N (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: modern timber panelled door with inscribed fanlight at ground in bay to centre; window at 1st floor above. Window at each floor in each bay flanking.

S (REAR) ELEVATION: window in each bay at 1st floor with window set between at ground.

W (SIDE) ELEVATION: 2-bay gabled wall. Window at ground and at 1st floor in bay to right. Attic window in bay to left; gablehead stack above.

6-pane timber sash and case windows. Grey slate roof; stone ridge; 2 evenly disposed rooflights to each pitch; concrete skews; rubble, corniced gablehead stacks to E and W; uPVC rainwater goods.

INTERIOR: not seen, 1997.

BOUNDARY WALLS: rubble walls with rubble cope to N and W boundaries.
