Description
The Field Barn at Bryn Mawr is a building constructed from rubble masonry, featuring a plinth at the front gable. It has a steeply pitched quarry slate roof with plain eaves and raking gable parapets. The entrance is located at the gable end, which includes a vent slit at the apex above the doorway, a stone lintel, and a split plank door. There is a raised area at the front with a stone kerb. Additionally, there is a pitching door at the uphill gable end, also with a stone lintel.
Inside, the barn has a through purlin collar and tie beam truss, along with a timber partition.
