Description
3 South Street, also known as Maes y Pandy, is a two-storey house featuring one window. The exterior is constructed of coursed rubble masonry and topped with a steeply pitched slate roof that has plain eaves. A small iron skylight is present, along with a brick stack that has a moulded cap. The roof has stepped water tabling that extends over to the gable end of the adjoining property, No 2.
On the first floor, there is a 12-pane horned sash window set under the eaves. The ground floor has a similar window, which is positioned beneath a deep stone lintel. The doorway is offset to the right and features a rectangular fanlight above it, with the door having six deep narrow flush panels.
At the rear, there is a hipped dormer set high in the roof, which has slated cheeks and a 12-pane sash window. To the right, there is a large 12-pane sash window located under the eaves. To the left, there is a single-storey gabled brick wash house, which is partially associated with Bronant, featuring a slate roof and a brick stack with a moulded cap.
The property was uninhabited at the time of inspection.
