Description
This is a two-storey house located at 2 South Street, also known as Maes y Pandy. It features a single window on each floor and is constructed from rubble masonry. The house has a steeply pitched slate roof with plain eaves and bargeboards, along with a stone stack and slate water tabling.
At the front, there is a tall, narrow gabled dormer that is fully integrated into the roof, which has slated cheeks and plain bargeboards. The ground floor has a 12-pane sash window, while the first floor has a similar 12-pane horned sash window with a stone lintel above it. The ground floor window's lintel has been replaced by an iron girder and is rendered over. The doorway is offset to the right and features a rectangular fanlight above a modern part-glazed door, with slate steps leading down to the street.
At the rear, there is a hipped dormer with slated cheeks and a 12-pane sash window. However, there is an unsympathetic modern extension at the back of the house.
