Description
5 South Street, also known as Maes y Pandy, is a two-storey house featuring two windows on each floor. It has a boulder foundation and is constructed of rubble masonry with mortar that is widely slobbered. The roof is moderately pitched, covered with slate, and has eaves that overhang, with exposed purlins. There are stone stacks and slate water tabling.
On the first floor, there are two-pane horned sash windows set under the eaves, and similar windows are found on the ground floor. All windows have stone lintels. The central doorway features a part-glazed modern door with a slate sill. Additionally, there is a two-pane sash window on the left side of the ground floor at the rear, also with a stone lintel.
At the time of inspection, the building was uninhabited.
