Description
Glanarran Cottages are a pair of one-and-a-half storey cottages, likely built in the 19th century. They are constructed from rubble masonry and feature a steeply pitched slate roof with plain eaves and close verges. The cottages have tall square stone chimneys that are pebbledashed, with water tabling and an end stack on No 2 that projects with slated offsets, as well as a lateral stack at the rear of No 2.
Each cottage has five pebbledashed gabled dormers in the lofts. The windows are two-light casement types, with three on No 1 and two on No 2. Central doorways are flanked by two-light casement windows, all featuring stone lintels. The right-hand window of No 1 has small panes, while No 2 has a slate slab hood over a plank door. The door of No 1 includes some fielded panels.
Inside, the cottages have transverse roughly chamfered ceiling beams.
