Description

This is a clapper type stone bridge spanning the Afon Trwsgl, accompanied by an adjoining tramway bridge. The bridge features drystone abutments made of small boulders that support a roadway 3 meters wide. Four stone slabs are still in place, although one slab is missing. To the east of the bridge, there is an embankment and an integral bridge for the quarry tramway that leads away from the slate mill. This area includes a rectangular water leet that stands approximately 2.2 meters high. The embankment is constructed from battered and closely dry-laid slate, with two offsets on both sides.
