Description

Pont Rhyd-ceffylau is a bridge made of rubble with a segmental arch featuring rough-dressed voussoirs. The carriageway is humped and unmetalled, with rough, uncoped parapets that appear to be slightly raised. The parapets are splayed out slightly at the approaches and have square terminating piers. On both sides of the stream, upstream, there are boulder platforms that belong to an earlier bridge.
