Description
Plas Gwyn is a gabled house dating to the second quarter of the 19th century, built over a basement. It is two storeys high with an attic. The house is constructed of roughly-dressed and coursed stone, with a slate roof and plain chimneys. It features simple wavy bargeboards and deep verges. The entrance is to the right of the raised ground floor, via a modern, part-glazed porch that projects into the angle between the house and the adjoining Colwyn Guest House. A flight of railed, painted steps leads to the porch. The original windows are 12-pane sash windows, with smaller windows in the attic. Windows to the left of the ground and first floors have modern external boarded shutters. The interior was not inspected.
