Description
This is a small, disused single-storey cottage with a loft, constructed from irregularly coursed rubblestone and topped with a graded slate roof. The front features a low, roughly central plank door, with external stone steps on the left leading to a dormer that has a raking eaves and another plank door. To the left of the gable end, there is a substantial integral end stack with slate drips, which includes pigeon nesting holes and a 6-paned window for the loft. The rear of the cottage has two windows on the ground floor.
Inside, the ground floor is divided into two rooms, with the left room being larger and featuring substantial ceiling joists. The position of a former winder stair is visible to the right of a large open fireplace in this room.
