Description
Maengwyn is a house that features a symmetrical two-storey front with three windows, flanked by single-storey ranges on either side that have hip roofs. The exterior is made of rendered rubblestone, topped with a hipped slate roof that has red ceramic ridge tiles along the hips, as well as decorative hooped cresting and finials on the short ridge. The eaves extend over the sides, and there are substantial integral end stacks with 20th-century chimneypots. The flanking ranges display similar architectural details. The windows throughout the house are 16-paned sashes, which are slightly smaller on the first floor; this floor also has a central window that is blind. The central entrance features a 20th-century half-glazed door with an overlight above it. On the left side, there is an original 12-paned sash window at the front, while the right side has a 20th-century window in the corresponding position and a tall integral end stack to the right. The property was not inspected at the time of the survey.
