Description

Gwernsaer is a small farmhouse that includes an attached converted byre. It is constructed from roughly squared rubble stone and features a renewed slate roof with stone end stacks that have dripstones and pyramid cement cappings. The building is single-storey and lofted within, with a double-fronted design that is offset to the right. There are 4-pane sash windows on each side of a 20th-century ledged door, with slab lintels and slate sills. On the right end, there is a 20th-century hipped conservatory. The former byre, which is slightly lower than the farmhouse, is located to the left and has 20th-century 4-pane windows: one under the eaves on the left, a smaller window in the center with a slab lintel, and another to the extreme right, also with a slab lintel.
