Description

Fron Oleu is a cottage that features whitewashed textured render and a grouted slate roof, along with whitewashed rendered end stacks that have dripstones. The building is single storey with a loft and has a double-fronted design. There are 20th-century windows on either side of the door, with the left window being larger. A small skylight is present in the roof. To the left, there is a 20th-century rebuilt addition that matches the roof height and includes a large front window; previously, in 1971, there was a dry-stone lean-to in this location.

The interior was not accessible during the survey, but in 1971, it was noted to have a wide fireplace with a beam above that was covered, and a somewhat recessed oven. The ceiling joists had roll-moulded edges, and the floor featured wide boards. There was also a close-string stair and a flag floor.
