Description
The former machine shop at Boston Lodge is a two-storey building constructed from local slate rubble, topped with slate roofs. It features wide eaves that are bracketed at the gable end and includes small-pane sash windows, with 25 and 30 panes. There are three original windows on the ground floor, while the upper floor has replacement copies. The building has been rebuilt and extended to the left, where the new section is cement-rendered and has modern windows, except for one original window on the first floor. At the rear, there is a lean-to that also contains small-pane sash windows. The interior has been converted into offices.
