Description
The Locomotive Shed at Boston Lodge Railway Works is a building constructed from local slatey rubble, topped with a corrugated iron roof. The south gable end features coursed rubble, while the sides are made of uncoursed rubble. It has twinned square-headed entrances with boarded gates and an iron lintel. There is a modern lean-to on the west side. An embankment wall is located on the opposite side of the track. At the north end, the shed is attached to the weigh house.
