Description
The former oil store at Boston Lodge Railway Works is a single-storey building constructed from local slatey rubble, topped with a slate roof that features wide eaves supported by brackets at the gable end. On the north front, there is a boarded door to the left and a 2-light timber window to the right, which includes a transom and pointed arched heads above the glazing. The west gable end has a small blocked roundel and projecting masonry at the north corner, which originally supported an arch that once spanned the railway line at this location.
