Description
Rhydyfelin, formerly known as 1 Wyle Cop, is a three-storey building constructed from local stone rubble, topped with a slate roof. It features two bays and has a central six-panelled door, with the two central panels being glazed. On either side of the door, there are 12-pane sash windows on the ground and first floors, while the attic has 8-pane single sash windows located just below the boxed eaves. All windows are set deeply in painted reveals, and the lower openings are adorned with slate lintels. A brick stack is present on the left (east) gable end. Notably, the window to the right of the door on the ground floor is a 20th-century false sash, placed in the bricked-up opening of a former shop window. The roof also includes one roof light on the front.
