K8 Phonebox, Nebo

The K8 phone box in Nebo is a Grade II listed structure designed in the Mark 2 style. It is made up of six cast iron parts and features an aluminium door. Three sides of the kiosk, including the door, are fitted with large sheets of toughened glass or perspex set within rectangular frames that have rounded corners. The kiosk has a square plan and a flat roof dome, which is also glazed with toughened glass on four sides, featuring rectangular panes with rounded corners. Each pane displays the word 'TELEPHONE' on a white background. Notably, the glass panel facing the road has been replaced with plastic. The phone and all other telecommunications equipment have been removed from the kiosk.
