Description
This Independent Chapel features a simple rectangular plan in plain Gothic style and dates from the 19th century. The front is constructed from regularly coursed and dressed rubblestone, primarily granite, while the sides and rear are more roughly coursed. It has a slate roof.
The front gable includes two broad 20th-century lancet windows at the center, flanked by round-arched doorways that have plank doors and fanlights, all adorned with stone voussoirs. Similar windows are present on the sides and rear, with three on the former and two on the latter.
Inside, the chapel has a raked floor and plastered walls above a matchboarded dado. There is a plain moulded cornice along the flat ceiling, which features a central ornamental plaster rose. The interior is furnished with a complete set of box pews that have chamfered panels. The set fawr contains a pulpit with two flights of steps, a turned balustrade, square newels with finials, and panelled sides.
