Description
This is a K8 design telephone kiosk. It is constructed from cast iron and aluminium. The kiosk is square in plan with a flat, domed roof. All sides, including the door, incorporate large sheets of toughened glass set in rectangular frames with rounded corners. The roof dome is also glazed with toughened glass on four sides, with openings for rectangular panes (two of which are missing), again within rounded corner frames. The word 'TELEPHONE' is displayed on a white background within each pane. The kiosk is painted red.
