Description

This is an early 17th-century house, later remodelled and now subdivided into two dwellings on Wickwar High Street. The building is rendered with a double Roman tiled roof and rendered stacks. It has two storeys, featuring four two-light cross windows on the ground floor and five on the first. Two 20th-century doors are centrally located. The interior of the north room retains a framed ceiling with stop-chamfered spine beams with run-out stops. A rear dog-leg staircase with turned balusters is present, along with tie and collar beam roof trusses and remains of two tiers of curved windbraces.
