Description

This is a telephone call box with a domed roof featuring four lunettes that contain embossed crowns above red lettered opals and ventilation slits. The sides and door have raised surrounds, and there are marginal bars on the horizontal glazing. The rear of the box is blank, and it has a moulded plinth. A foundry plate is inscribed with "Lion Foundry Co Ltd, Kirkintilloch."
