Description

This is a telephone call-box featuring a domed roof with four lunettes that contain embossed crowns, along with red lettered opals and ventilation slits. The sides and door have raised surrounds, and the horizontal glazing is fitted with marginal bars. The rear of the box is blank, and it has a moulded plinth. A foundry plate is inscribed with "Lion Foundry Co Ltd, Kirkintilloch."
