Description

This is a telephone call box located to the north of the Post Office. It features a domed roof with four lunettes that contain embossed crowns of Queen Elizabeth II, along with red-lettered opals and ventilation slits. The sides and door have raised surrounds, and the horizontal perspex panels are fitted with marginal glazing. The rear of the call box is plain, except for the foundry identification that reads "Lion Foundry / Co Ltd / Kirkintilloch." It also has a moulded plinth.
