Description

This is a Grade II listed telephone call-box featuring a domed roof with four lunettes that contain embossed crowns, red-lettered opals, and ventilation slits. The sides and door have raised surrounds with marginal bars on the horizontal glazing. The rear is blank and has a moulded plinth. The telephone equipment inside has been modernised. The call-box is painted red and has a foundry plate at the rear inscribed with "Lion Foundry Co Ltd, Kirkintiloch."
