Description

Nos 1-3 Peniel Terrace

The cottages are arranged as two 2-window units (nos 2 and 3) and a single window end unit (no 1). The 2 former have central entrances with boarded doors and plain overlights, and flanking 12-pane C19 sashes. No 1 has a similar door with a sash to the L; each cottage retains its original 9-pane sashes under the eaves to the first floor. To the rear, each of the cottages has 9 and 12-pane first floor windows, the latter contained within distinctive gabled dormers, one to each cottage, the upper sash sections with triangular heads. Further 12-pane sashes to the ground floor with an entrance to no 3. Nos 1 and 2 have single-storey rear extensions; modern windows to roughcast gable end of no 1.
