Description
Glascoed is a two-storey village house built from local rubble, featuring a whitened and roughcast facade. It has a continuous slate roof with overhanging, slated verges and squat end chimneys on the main section, along with an additional end chimney on the gable of a 19th-century extension. The building includes slate cornice bands and weather coursing.
The entrance is off-centre to the right and features a recessed boarded door. On either side of the entrance are three 19th-century 16-pane sash windows, two to the left and one to the right. These windows are recessed, unhorned, and have projecting slate sills. To the immediate left of the entrance is a narrow 20th-century window with fixed glazing. The primary section has two similar sash windows on the first floor. The 19th-century bay to the right has a large window with modern uPVC glazing on the ground floor to the right, and another sash window is located under the eaves above.
The interior was not inspected during the survey.
