Description
This is an L-plan, single-storey picturesque cottage built with granite rubble-stone walls, some of which are whitewashed. It features slate roofs with half-hipped gables on the north side and the west end of the south crosswing. The cottage has overhanging eaves and a central rendered chimney. The west front includes a projecting crosswing on the right, which has one three-light window with a hoodmould on the end wall and a door on the north return. The main range has a cat-slide roof over a three-bay rustic veranda supported by tree-trunk uprights and rough four-centred arcading. There is a similar window inside and another on the north end wall. All windows are mullion-and-transom style with latticed glazing and flat hoodmoulds. There is a 20th-century extension at the rear.
