Description
This is a roadside telephone box made of black-painted galvanised sheet metal over timber, dating from the 20th century. It features a cross-gabled roof that is painted silver and has a centre-capped vent. The main angles of the box are highlighted with yellow strips, and there is a door located on the southwest front. Each side of the box displays the yellow-painted designation 'Box 580', along with a more recent AA motif on the side gables and the front sheet-metal door. The box stands on a concrete plinth.
The interior has been altered and is painted white, with a white perspex ceiling. Inside, there is a small floor cupboard and a wall-mounted phone from around the 1990s.
