Description

This is a telephone call box located by a war memorial. It features a domed roof with four lunettes that contain embossed crowns, red lettered opals, and ventilation slits. The sides and door have raised surrounds, and the door includes sidebar glazing on the horizontal panels. The door is made with timber stiles, and the rear is blank, while there is a moulded plinth. The telephone equipment inside has been modernised.

Between the telephone box and the war memorial stands a good cast-iron lamp standard, which has strapwork and crocus moulding, along with a reeded shaft. The lamp is fitted with modern light fittings.
