Description
This is a red-painted cast-iron telephone call box located by the Memorial Hall. It has a square plan and features a moulded plinth, glazed sides, and a wooden door. Above the door, there are four translucent lettered panels and a shallow Soaneian dome topped with lunettes and embossed George VI crowns. The sides of the box have glazing set in raised reeded surrounds, with a total of eight panels on each side, each panel having marginal glazing bars. The door also has similar glazing but does not have a surrounding frame.
