Description

The War Memorial is made of granite and features a tapering octagonal cross that stands on a stepped base. This cross is set upon a panelled octagonal pedestal with a plain plinth. The pedestal includes commemorative tablets dedicated to those who served in the Great War. Additionally, there is a wreath relief on the plinth, with inscriptions from the Second World War added to the outer corners.
