Description
Ty'n Rhos Cottage is a croglofft cottage built from rubble masonry and limewashed. It features a roof made of small slates that are heavily grouted, along with rectangular rubble stacks that have dripstones and capping. The main section of the cottage has a two-window range with a central doorway, which is now enclosed in a flat-roofed porch. The flanking windows are small, four-pane horned sashes, and there is a similar single window located at the rear on the left side. On the left end of the cottage, there is a single window range with an unequal horned sash containing six panes, which may have been a converted cowhouse. At the right end, there is a lean-to outbuilding that has a single boarded door and a roof made of profiled metal. The interior was not inspected during the survey.
