Description

Pen-yr-Allt is a two-storey house featuring three windows, constructed from rubble masonry and finished with a limewashed front. It has boulder foundations and includes a wing at right angles to the rear, along with a lean-to. The northern wing is grit rendered and has a sheeting roof. The main roof is covered with medium-sized slates and has fairly tall end chimneys that feature dripstones and capping. The house has fairly small windows with exposed frames, although the sashes have been renewed to include only central glazing bars. The entrance door consists of six sunk panels with small centre panels. A low stone wall encloses the front garden. The interior was not inspected during the survey.
