Description

Single storey vernacular croglofft cottage with wing to R (SE) and brick built lean-to at far R end. Built of local rubble masonry, limewashed. Slate roof with tiled ridge and coping; rendered rectangular gable stacks with capping. The cottage is a 2 window range with central doorway, windows are 4-pane horned sashes with slate sills and stone lintels; similarly detailed window to SE wing. There is a single small loft light to the front of the L (NW) gable return. There are no openings to the rear of the range. The lean-to addition has a door offset to the L (NW) and casement windows along the SE wall.
