Description
Rhos Boeth is a single-storey croglofft cottage with converted outbuilding wings on either side. The wing on the right (west) extends at a right angle and features external steps leading to the loft, alongside a two-unit pigsty. The cottage is constructed from local rubble masonry, with segmental voussoir heads above the openings of both the cottage and the left (east) wing. It has a modern slate roof that includes Velux windows along its length.
The cottage features a rectangular chimney stack with capping on the right and a larger stack on the left gable. The advanced wing has a small stack on the rear (west) pitch. The main cottage has a central doorway flanked by windows, while the left outbuilding has two doorways, one of which is partly blocked and now features large casement windows. There are ventilation slits to the right of the doorway at the left end and flanking the doorway to the right. The range on the right (west) includes a single doorway on the left with a small light to its right, another doorway at the return angle of the advanced wing, and a wide doorway on the right that leads to a former cartshed.
The interior was not inspected during the survey.
