Description

This is a substantially complete rectangular stone lime kiln built into the cliff face at the edge of the bay. It is constructed of coursed, roughly dressed stone with large quoins and an advanced dripcourse. The main opening faces the sea to the east and opens into a ruined walled yard that has a doorway in the northeast corner. There is another opening that faces north, and both openings have round heads, with the northern opening featuring brick dressings.

In the south wall, there are two brick-lined recesses, with the one at the rear having an iron base plate.
