Description

A single storey 2-window croglofft cottage with single storey agricultural range continuing the building line to the right (N) end. Built of local rubble, pebble-dashed rendered to front elevation, limewashed to rear; roof of small slates, grouted, stone copings and rendered end stacks to main part, that to left (S) larger. Doorway towards centre: plank door in small added lean-to porch; 4-pane window to its left, 9-pane window to the right, both with smooth-rendered surrounds. Small skylight to croglofft. Stable (perhaps originally cow-byre) has doorway adjacent to gable end of dwelling, and additional doorway in gable end.

Divided by thin partition immediately right of doorway to form two-roomed plan, with a further small room partitioned in the rear corner of the main living room. Main room has deep fireplace, and screen protecting the room from the front doorway. Croglofft survives over the secondary room to the right.
