Description
The building is an octagonal two-storey toll house, likely dating to the 18th century, with single-storey wings extending to the west and south. The walls are constructed of rubble stone, laid in courses between the window and door openings, and feature voussoir lintels above these openings. The roof is slate, with projecting eaves. A central stack rises from the octagonal section, and gable stacks are present on each wing. The windows are slightly recessed and contain modern casements. The upper storey of the octagonal section has blind recesses on the north and east faces.
