Description

Ty Newydd is a single-storey crogloft cottage featuring a two-window range with a doorway positioned between the windows. The cottage is constructed of stone with rendered elevations. It has a roof made of small old slates, complete with stone coping and rendered gable stacks that have dripstones and capping; the stack at the right (eastern) end is a large square stack. The entrance elevation faces north and includes a modern boarded door flanked by 6-pane sash windows. The left (western) gable has a similarly styled window for the loft, while there is a small 8-pane ground floor window offset to the rear (south). The interior was not inspected during the survey.
