Description
The dovecote at Plas Bodewryd is a tall structure made of local rubble masonry, topped with a modern slate roof. It has a square shape with gables on each wall and features a slate string course that projects at the height of the gables. There is a single narrow square-headed doorway located in the north gable wall, and a ventilation slit is present in the apex of the south gable.
The interior was not inspected during the survey, but the Royal Commission on the Ancient and Historical Monuments of Wales (RCAHMW) reports that it is said to contain pigeon nests made of brick, with stone slabs extending from three feet above the floor level up to the base of the gables.
