Description
The dovecote at Llandre-Egremont is a two-storey structure built of coursed rubble stone, topped with a pyramidal slate roof that features an apex weathervane. The northeast-facing front has a keyed, pointed doorway with a replaced door and a small-pane overlight above it. There are pointed windows on either side of the doorway, which have original sills that have been raised and incorporate diamond-pane glazing. On the upper storey, there is a replaced Venetian window that includes a sill and impost bands. The northwest side of the dovecote features a replaced pointed window on the lower storey and an upper-storey opening that is covered with mesh. The southeast side has pigeon holes with ledges, while there are fewer pigeon holes on the southwest side.
